Can you explain the no charge on shipping deal?
Sure, when you allow us to organize your shipping to and from site, we will only charge you rental when the equipment is in your possession. For example, you have a job in Darwin and the shipping time is 5 days each way, instead of charging you an extra 10 days rental plus the shipping costs, we only charge the shipping costs and the time you actually have the equipment. In effect saving you 10 days rental costs. Its our way of helping you get the job. This deal only applies if we organize shipping in both directions, out and return.
Can I drop the equipment back to a different shipping location than the one I collected it from?
Yes. There may be, at Brandis Hire’s discretion, a relocation fee charged for this service. Please ask us for more details.
Can I have the equipment delivered?
Yes on most of our items. Certain items are only available for local pickup, however that is clearly written on the product description page.
What is your minimum hire period?
Our minimum hire period is 1 day. Our full day rate is calculated on 8hrs of use in a 24hrs period. We also offer weekly and longer term hire rates upon request.
When do I pay for the hire of the equipment?
We require full payment including any fee and other charges at the commencement of the hire except where you have an approved 30-day credit account with Brandis Hire.
How do I get an approved 30-day credit account?
Simply enter your details when you are placing your order and one of our friendly team will contact you with further details. If you urgently need the equipment, please call us via our Contact Us page. Alternatively, simply download and complete the Credit Account Application Form, send via email and one of our friendly team will contact you with further details.
Do I need to pay a deposit when making a booking?
Normally a deposit is not required when making a booking online or over the phone. If you are paying by Credit Card, a flat deposit of $300 is required and will be refunded at the end of the rental period.
