Hire Fees & Rental Periods
When does my hire start and stop?
Brandis Hire charge in 24 hour blocks for the duration of the time that the equipment is in your position. Your equipment is on hire as soon as you collect it from one of our branches, a freight depot, or is delivered to you. Your equipment is off hire once it is returned to one of our branches, is scanned in at a freight depot or picked up from you, so long as you have followed our returns policy.
What is the minimum hire period?
All of our products are offered on a minimum one day hire, unfortunately we don’t offer half day hires for our products and to be honest, nobody seems to ask for it either.
Collections & Returns
Can I collect my equipment the day before I need it?
Yes, we charge in 24 hour blocks meaning you can pick up the equipment you require, anytime (within operating hours) and the unit will be on hire from that time. For example, for a one day hire you could pick it up at 4pm the day before your testing, and you’ll only be charged the one day, so long as the equipment is returned by 4pm the next day.
Freight
What freight options can I choose from?
Brandis Hire offers personalised freight options to suit your location and needs. We understand the impacts delayed freight can have on your business. That is why we offer everything from Local Delivery, Standard Road Freight, Overnight Express to Next Flight and even Mission Critical freight services.
At Brandis Hire, we want to help you succeed. We care about the job you have to do and will do everything possible to ensure you have the right equipment, when you need it (even if it seems impossible!).
Credit Accounts & Payment
When is payment required for my hire?
For Account Holders, payment is required 14 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing from Brandis Hire. Invoices are issued at the end of each hire and at the end of each month, for any hires in progress at the time.
For all other customers, full payment is required upfront prior to the equipment being dispatched or collected from a Brandis Hire office.
