OMICRON TD15

The CP TD12 and CP TD15 are accessories for TESTRANO 600, CPC 100 or CPC 80 used in performing power/dissipation factor and capacitance measurements.

The Omicron TD12 and Omicron TD15 include a high-voltage source, reference capacitor and measurement electronics. They can generate output voltages up to 12 kV and 15 kV,  respectively, currents up to 300 mA and achieve laboratory precision even in environments with strong interferences.

Omicron’s CPC 80 + CP TD12 is the perfect test system for analysing the insulation condition of high-voltage equipment by measuring the power/dissipation (tan delta) factor value and capacitance. At 18 kg for CPC 80 and 24 kg for CP TD12, each unit can easily be handled by one person.

The test set provides automated voltage and frequency sweeps. Measuring the power/dissipation factor over a broad frequency range delivers more details than a single measurement, helping you better assess the insulation condition. For example, you can detect moisture contamination in the cellulose or if the oil is contaminated or otherwise affected.
