Description
The Stemar 1:10 interposing (often called step-up) CT’s are used to modify low level current signals by a factor of 10x for stability testing and verification.
Interposing CT’s can be used to modify the secondary current from an existing line CT, allowing modification of secondary currents without replacing existing CT’s.
By connecting an existing CT circuit to the input terminals, the current from the output terminals is 10 times higher than the input magnitude, which is useful in testing unit protection and differential protection schemes.
